My reflection on the test I took about becoming a U.S. citizen that I think its ridiculous. I understand that having to know about the history of the United States is important because of many different reasons. But being honest, the reason I think it is ridiculous is because not everybody memorizes historical things that happened in the past. I mean if you really think about it why do we need to know the history were in the present that was centuries ago. I think that the only part of history that U.S. citizens need to know is what has happened in the U.S. while you have been alive. My opinion on the video was that wow I really hope that the U.S. would of kept their promise about all the immigration stuff they “signed” or what so ever. If they are going to promise something they should keep it because then that’s another reason why we have wars and stuff. I just hope things in this country and well the whole entire world get better soon.
After taking the US citizenship test I realized that they make it hard for immigrants to pass it. But I think it’s a good idea because it wont let just anyone in the US. In my opinion the test was hard because I don’t really know about the history of the US and all those other things and for an immigrant I know that they would really have a hard time to do this. I think that they made this test because it would show who knew more about America than who didn’t and for the ones who knew more had the privilege to live here. For the movie they had to watch it gave them some information that they needed to know. I think that the movie is a good way for them to learn instead of reading it or hearing someone speak about it. All I can say is that to anyone who takes it is that they need to brush up on their knowledge of the US if they don’t want to be deported.
Now that I’ve took the citizenship test I see how difficult it is to get the citizenship for the U.S. The test was actually difficult even someone like me had difficulty answering the questions and I’m a citizen. I didn’t think it was a fair test at first. But now that someone brought up a good point then I see it is a fair test for immigrants. It’s a fair test because if immigrants want to be here they have to have to know information about this country. I think the movie was a positive and powerful piece of work. I think that its great what they promise to immigrants when they sign on. The U.S. should also keeps its to promises to them and not go back on them because of the broken promises might start a war.

One of my thoughts on this would be that every body deserves the right to be where ever they want to be at. I also think that the person that tries a lot to accomplish what they want will eventually do it. I think its worth it to take a chance on the test if we pass we pass and if we fail then we fail. If we think about it everything we do is worth it and we could so much being a U.S Citizen. My concern’s on this would be that even if we have illegal immigrants here in the United States we should help them practice so we could make a change on their life’s. I think that’s a great idea for us to do because most of the immigrants wont do it for the fact that they are scared that they will fail and make a fool of them selves. We could prove them wrong and let them know that they can do it

If they hear about this test all they have to do is study and travel. This test wasn’t even that hard I could have passed it if I had studied for it. After watching the video I thought to myself we should have just watch the video first because all the answers are in the video. But the ones that were easy I could get them out of my head like nothing. When Ms. Jade told us to give our paper to someone else I knew that I did not pass. And the part when she told the deported people to stand up. She then told us to leave and that’s when I noticed that people really go through this type of stuff. The video also inspired me in a way that made me noticed how the U.S.A. in organized. The way they explained it made so much sense and was so educational that I actually learned a couple of things. I really enjoyed this activity which made me realize to study my country.
